Norwich Business Owner Manny Lopes a.k.a Manny Millz | Signs with "Best In The Booth Song Contest"

Updated: Jun 4, 2021

Norwich business owner, Manny Lopes has signed on as a producer for the 2021-2022 "Best In The Booth Song Contest".

"Hip Hop! I knew wanted to be a part of it when I was just 12 years old. As a young teen listening to classic artists like Nas, Wu Tang, Black Sheep, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, I noticed something much more than just lyrics, production over all, that RAW Hip-Hop sound.”, stated Manny.

"The unique sound that I have today has changed with time, I’m more into live sound as well as production gear, while keeping that recipe of a dope Hip-Hop beat”, he said.

Its not only Hip-Hop that Manny can produce though, he dabbles with R&B, Regge and International Cape Verdean Music as well. As a graduate from The Institute Of Audio Research and Practice, he has been working for years to perfect his craft. He has worked with many artists, including signed artists, as well as local Connecticut artists. He now runs Manny’s Lounge/Studio, renting the venue for events and studio time located at 240 Main St., Norwich, CT.

Manny's beat titled, "Millz Mega", was produced with live instruments, and sampling, a little different from the sounds of the other producers. To register for the 2021-2022 "Best In The Booth Song Contest" visit https://www.underground101themusicplatform.com/bestintheboothsongcontest
